Jeffrey Daniel Pohlar, 48, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2009. Born on May 17, 1960 to Daniel R. Pohlar, Jr. and Gayle Shaneff, Jeffrey was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Pohlar and stepfather, George Shaneff. Jeffrey worked at I.P.S. for 15 years in special education and was compassionate towards kids and animals. He is survived by his mother, Gayle, and stepmother, Doris; brother, Trent (Pam) Pohlar; sisters, Dawn (Steve) Moore and Jennifer (Ricky) Cremeans; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 7:00 pm, with a 7:00 pm service on Wednesday, April 29 at Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W 10th St, Indpls.
