My condolences to the Family. I was a youngster and often went to the hardware store
to make purchases with my father and enjoyed shopping there.
Thanks for your service to our Country and also being a firefighter at Company 8 across
from St. Ann's Church. I remember Kenneth Roller would hear the siren and run from the
church during Mass to answer the calls.
May you Rest in Peace!
God Bless your Family!
Remember: " Ole soldiers never die they just fade away".
Our thoughts and prayers are for you and with you as you mourn the passing of your father. But, celebrate his life and all the fond memories you will cherish forever.
Rosebrough (& Karwowski) Family,
Will Rosebrough was a name I heard frequently growing up in Chapel Glen & at Chapel Hill UMC. He was one of the folks who raised up a young church and helped shape it into what it is today. Grateful for the support he & his wife gave to the youth ministry that shaped and molded me in many ways. Have been praying for his family since my parents, David & Barbara Duncan, told me about the accident at church on Sunday. Just made the connection to my son Luke's buddy Jacob Karwowski tonight.
Praying for your time together celebrating Mr Rosebrough's life. Hoping your time sharing memories and being with one another is a blessing. Praying in the days ahead for peace and the comfort that comes from Christ alone.
Blessings,
Liz Duncan Simmonds
Our deepest sympathies on the passing of Willard. We lived near Willard and Betty for several years. They were wonderful people. We have lost another one of our heroes.
Our prayers and condolences to his family. They meant the world to him.
Greg -
May God wrap his loving arms around your family and bring you wonderful memories of your loving, generous and courageous Dad.
With sympathy and friendship,
Carol Wendt
I am so sorry for the Rosebrough Family and your loss; I recently lost my Mom. I have found death to leave me with a feeling of helplessness. May I leave you this word of encouragement that has helped me? The Bible says at 1 Corinthians 15: 26 that God hates death, and shows it to be an enemy. He has "a yearning" to conquer that enemy, to undo death by means of the resurrection. He longs to bring back those who are in his memory and to see them live on earth again. -Job 14:14, 15. My sincere condolences.
I am so sorry to hear about Willard's death. I dearly loved Great Uncle Williard's sense of humor and quick wit. My deepest sympathies are with the family.
Hi Uncle Elmer and Aunt Anna: We were so sad to hear the news. Our thoughts are with you. I will always remember: "conchicongafuchawighitz" - probably didn't spell that right but I use the expression with my own family - I don't know what it means but it's fun to say and my family always laughs.
Your family has always been so supportive - coming to graduations and always welcoming us into your home (or to swim in the lake). My "cooch" Cathy also sends her love. On behalf of all the Middaughs, are thoughts are with you.
Deepest Sympathy,
Matt Middaugh (and the whole Middaugh clan).
Greg and Barb,
We are so sorry to hear of the passing of your father. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families. Mourn his passing, but celebrate a life well lived.
Phil & Betty Eades
Barb, Greg, and Family,
We feel honored to have known your Dad. He was one in a million. His love for his family, friends, and his country shined though all of you.
May God strengthen you during these difficult days to come. God bless and may your Dad rest in peace.
We are saddened by this sudden loss and pray for Elmer and the family as they mourn this loss. We know Elmer so well and have met Willard often...we will miss the other half of the pair. Thanks your for your service Willard...another WW II hero has left us. Our prayers are with the immediate family and we look forward to celebrating this fantastic life
Our sincere condolences for your family. Will was such a good friend and family man, plus he was in our Sunday School Class when we attended Chapel Hill UMC. His wit and things he would say kept our class alert... A bunch of us would always go to eat after class when Betty was alive and afterwards. They were always acting like a couple of teenagers. What wonderful memories we have of some great times.
We will not be able to attend the services because Harry is scheduled for rotator cuff surgery on Thursday morning. But want you all to know our thoughts and prayers will be with you.. Yes, you are right he will be missed.
Also there are not enough thanks, for his service to America
Love, Harry and Barb Adams
Mr. Rosebrough was a great family man, a great Hoosier, and an American hero. They don't make 'em like they used to. I worked with his son Greg for many years and saw close-up and personal the values with which he was raised.
The highest compliment I could give Mr. Rosebrough is that he and his twin brother Elmer reminded me very much of my own late father and his brothers. Mr. Rosebrough and his twin built a nice deck for me many years ago; and undercharged me. When my father--who could do practically anything, and late uncle--who was a master carpenter and a perfectionist, visited me and looked at my deck, they said it was high quality work and constructed of quality materials. They never met the Rosebroughs; so trust me, if the deck hadn't been a good one, they would have told me.
Greg has the same work ethic and friendly demeanor as his Dad did. So apparently at least the Rosebroughs make 'em like they used to.
Our sincere condolences, but thanks to God for a full life that was well lived.

Uncle Will will surely be missed. I think back on so many family memories and remember his wit, his compassion, and his gentle spirit. What a blessing to have known him! I pray comfort and peace for all.
Just wanted to add my condolences to what surely will be hundreds of others. Willard (AKA "Hogjaw") was a beloved friend of the Crum family. With his no nonsense "get it done" supercharged energy, he had a profoundly positive effect on my Dad's "we'll maybe eventually get it done" attitude about home improvement. Being a master carpenter probably didn't hurt either... Whenever I came home from another of my Army adventures to visit my parents, it was also time to visit Willard. After coming home from Iraq, I had an even more profound appreciation for the wonderful man that he was. Reaching back into childhood memories, I can still remember the joy he and his dear wife Betty brought to our family through something as simple as playing bridge with my parents. Even as a teenager, I can remember his sorrow over her departure. I'm sure he is holding her hand today. God bless him and you too.
I will always miss my Uncle Will and his wonderful sense of humor. When I returned from my flying tour in Viet Nam, Uncle Will said, "What are you doing home--it's not over yet!" (I told him we were winning when I left)
Dear Greg, Denise & Family,
We are lifting you up in our daily prayers with the loss of your dear Dad & Grandpa. Heaven has surely gained another angel though. We know how close Paige was to her sweet Grandpa & will miss him a lot. Our thoughts are with all of you at this time.
Your friends,
Rick, Tammy & Mackenzie Miller
Our family is so sorry to hear of Will's sudden passing. Wish we could have spent more time with him over the years. He was one of a kind and we know how much he meant to all of you. You are all in our prayers.
Will (Hogjaw) was such a special friend. He was funny, kind, interesting, and he loved his family. We know you are going through a terrible time now but thinking of all the memories you shared will soften your burden. He was one of a kind. Loved his smile and Thank him for his service to our Country.
Your entire family is in our Thoughts and Prayers.
Jerry and Terry
We are very sorry for your loss.
We always enjoyed visiting and talking to Will and know he will be missed.
So very sorry for your loss. We have always heard such wonderful things and many stories from Elmer about his brother. Glad we were able to meet such a neat man on a few occasions. We know he will be truly deeply missed but thankful for his resting place in heaven with our savior. Thank you for your service Willard!
Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family.
