I remember growing up with Peggy I've known her since I was 3 years old she was pretty much my grandmother. I remember every year in the spring me and my little sister were always getting in trouble with Peggy. We always picked her flowers. Every halloween she had a bag of goodies set aside for all the neighborhood kids she loved, we always went to Peggy's first. She had seen so much happen in my life she knew me like my mom and dad. When I had heard the news about Peggy I was about to get off work. I was pretty upset because not only was she like another grandmother but she was the sweetest woman I had ever met in my life. She brought alot of smiles and got me in alot of trouble. I hope the family does well and I will pray for all of you. You guys meant alot to me growing up, even the ones I didn't see very often.

One of my all-time favorite people. My Mom and Dad and I visited Indiana every summer and we got to know the Welsh family. I have a fond memory of your Dad taking us fishing in a pond. Peggy was always so kind but at the same time said what was on her mind which I loved about her. I remember her wonderful sense of humor. I cherish my childhood memories of Peggy.

My condolences to all of you. I have some very warm memories of Peggy...she was like a mother to me growing up next door to her.

Michael and Margaret, I'm sad to read of your mom's death. She was such a wonderful person, always so generous and accepting of me. Her way of making her home open to your friends was an inspiration to me as I raised my three teenagers. Sending comforting and healing energy to you and your families.
