Dorothy Alta Johnson, 79, of Indianapolis passed away January 26, 2014. She was born April 14, 1934 in Blanford, IN to Rocco and Buelah Mediate. Dorothy taught pre-k Sunday school for over 40 years at Eagledale Baptist Church and State Line Christian Church in Illinois. She enjoyed spending time with her 10 grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Bruce Johnson; sons, Kevin, Scott, Jon and Michael Johnson; sister, Stella Zucca; brother, Francis Mediate and 10 grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2014 from 9:30 am - 11:30 am with a funeral service at 11:30 am in Crosspointe Baptist Church, 220 Country Club Road, Indianapolis.
