First Visitation
Condolences
Dear Anne, Melissa, Angie, Rebecca and family, you remain in our thoughts and prayers, especially now that the school year is in full swing. Al was more than an inspiration for me to become a teacher, he was a role model as a family man, man of faith and much more. His memory lives on in my classroom. God bless you all...and Al, thanks for the memories!
Dear Anne and Family, My thoughts and prayers are with the Traub-Thompson Family at this time. May Angels and Archangels hover over you, and may the Peace of the Prince of Peace be with you now, and always. Michael Traub, Los Angeles
Ben David High School: I first meet Al I found him quite, kind, and like to help the other people. After our class of 56's went out in to the world, we all stay freinds. My prayers go to his Family, you have lost a GREAT family member and I have loss a Freind.
I just returned from visiting my niece in New Orleans and read that Al had died. Peggy L. Cook told me how sick Al was and I am so sorry to hear of his death. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Anne - Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Steve and Sue Barnett
Al hired me to be his helper on the State Wide Pest Control truck when I was 14---not 16 and paid me 50 cents an hour till I turned 16, then it was $1.25 an hour.
I saved my money for a year and bought my first car, 1949 Chevy fastback for $85.00 and drove that car all through high school. Thanks Al.
Dave
Al was a wonderful person I was proud to call a fellow teacher. He was always a joy to be around, always a smile and a funny story to share. I have always said Al Thompson is one of my favorite people. That will never change. God bless you, Al. Blessings to Ann and your daughters and all the family.
Dad, I sit here still wondering how this can be happening. I miss you so much already. I want you to know I will always think about you and you will never be far from me. I love you! As today brings the closure of your life and death by site, I will never have closure of the life and love I feel for you as my father and friend.

Melissa, I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your father. Rick and I will be out of town and unable to support you and your family in person. Please know you are in our prayers. Love, Vana
I can't remember never having you and your family as part of my life.
I waited patiently for Curt to get home every day to tell me of the jokes the two of you pulled on your customers and each other. We treasured your Mom and Dad and adopted them as our second parents, so I really feel we're family and you're going to be missed tremendously .I pray God's eternal peace over Anne and the girls as they proceed to go on with life without you. I'm more than honored to call you my friend.Sandy
Al, was my 6th and 7th grade teacher. Great man. A few years ago I helped Al clean up and arrange his garage. Great time together. He motioned to a neighbor with that finger of his, the neighbor came over just like we did in school, wondering if we were in trouble. So many art supplies, I suggested building a second garage. Great man.
To Marti and family. We are so sorry to hear your loss. Even though we never met Al, we always enjoyed the great and funny stories you shared with us. We all here at Horizon Home Care are thinking and praying for you and the family. We love and miss you!
We were so sorry to hear of Al's death. He taught our three daughters and son, who all greatly benefited from Al's teaching. He also taught our neices and nephews (the Hagans) and many of the sons and daughters of our friends. Over my many years of coatching various sports at St. Michaels, Al was one of our strongest supporters and attended many of our games. We will truly miss this kind and dedicated man.

Oh, my, where to start? Please know that you all in Andrew & I's thoughts and prayers. It hurts so much, I know, but lean on God to get you through this; His kind mercy and loving arms wrapped me when it was Dad's time and I know it was possible only through Him. I love you guys so much! Please reach out whenever you need something; I will be there.
I have so many memories of Al but one that I will always remember was his laugh and how it would light up a room. I will also cherish the memories of countless summer camping trips. I always thought it was cool that we shared a name because I really felt like we were family. I loved Al and even though we rarely saw each other these days, I will miss him. You are all in my thoughts.
Our deepest sympathy, Ann and family. We always thought Al was one the nicest guys. We live in Florida now so we cannot stop by in person but you are in our prayers.
Our prayers and thoughts with you Ann- also your 3 girls. He will be missed by so many people- I will miss that GREAT since of humor yelling at me. Lots of good memories. Anything we can do for you were a step away. Love Kathy,Larry and Adam
