Bill was "an officer and a gentleman." I was saddened to learn of his passing.
Yvonne - I am so sorry to hear about Bill's passing. He was a good friend to my dad in many different ways. Perhaps, now, they can once again enjoy a golf or bowling outing, together.
My thoughts and prayers are with all family and friends during this most difficult time.
So Sorry for your loss Sharon And rest of family, You are in my prayers.
Sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I was still attending high school when I got my first "real" job at the VA. I was blessed to work in the Personnel Office with Bill, Thelma and Chuck. Bill was a serious, friendly and caring first boss who encouraged me to reach out for opportunities within the agency so I stayed at the Regional Office instead of transfering to the Hospital and became a Veterans Counselor. He expressed pride in everything I did. Though He is gone on, I will still have my great memories of working with and for him in Personnel. Yvonne,my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.
Dear Jamie and Family, May your Dad’s loving memories ease the pain of his passing, May you find comfort and peace in the knowledge that your Dad will live on in each of you. When you hear a bird chirping, it is your Dad singing to you, When you see a butterfly fluttering its wings, it is your Dad saying Hello. May you find comfort and peace in the thought that heaven gained a special angel, This special angel will always wrap his arms around each of you with so much love and pride! Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time, Richard and Ofelia
We are so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
so sorry to hear about Bill, he was a nice guy.
Jaime and Family, So sorry for your loss. You're in our thoughts and prayers.
We at Quail Creek Golf Club were shocked and saddened when we learned that Bill had pasted. It was our great pleasure to know him all these years. We laughed with him, learned from him, and ate his doughnuts. We loved being with him in the EARLY hours on those days that he was able to play. In fact Mike Hardwick, our pro, would tease Bill about going out and playing in the dark. For me, I will miss talking with Bill. I was privileged to know him and read his book, My Story, that he loaned me. In so many ways he was such a wonderful friend, gentleman and human being. We will miss him very much. Sincerely, Dave DeBoer and all the Quail Creek staff
Jamie my heartfelt condolences go out to you and your family.May God comfort and strengthen you and your family during this difficult time.
I share your sadness. Bill was a good friend and we enjoyed many early morning golf games together. I will miss him greatly.
We are all so saddened by my father's passing. In addition to the thoughts and prayers that others are leaving for us, we also offer our condolences for his many, many friends that our also feeling this loss. We thank you all for being a part of his wonderful life.
I worked with Bill for many years at the VA. He worked and played well with others and was much respected. He was the most knowledgable personnel officer I ever dealt with and I loved that if he didn't know the answer to a question he would say so and then add "but I'll find out" and he would. A very down to earth and honest man that will be missed by many.
Iam praying God gives all of you the strength and comfort you'll need at this time! Love, Norma
