Vera R. "Mom" Zunk passed away Saturday, November 17, 2012. Vera was preceded in death by her husband, Louis T. Zunk and parents Charles and Ethel Bogren. She is survived by her four sons, Thomas (Marilyn), Frank (Shirley), Michael (Mary) and David Zunk; grandchildren, Timothy, Angela, Craig, Michael and Teresa; great-grandchildren, Daniel, Nicholas, Jacob, Meryl and Kyndall. Vera lovingly known as "Mom", she was the owner and proprietor of the Westside Outing and Social Club. Vera loved watching football and racing. She liked to read and grow flowers in her garden. Vera loved to laugh and have fun while spending time with her family and friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 20th from 4 -8pm with a Rosary at 7:30pm in Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W. 10th Street, Indpls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, November 21st at 11 am in St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 3354 W. 30th Street, Indpls. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery and Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 3354 W. 30th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46222 or to a charity of one's choice.
