On behalf of Vonda's family, we are so sorry for you loss. We missed seeing that she passed. Our Mother, Vonda Bowman, considered Vera her best friend. To the family, please know we would have been there to pay our respects. Everyone loved Vera. Our very belated sympathies. Bonnie Wagoner

Mr. Zunk, We are saddened to learn of the passing of your Mom. We know how much she meant to you. May God's peace be with you, Mary and the rest of the family during this time.
I worked at the club while putting myself thru college. Louie was still alive when I first started there. Loved Vera & I still make her hunkie burgers for my family. Wondered if she kept the Christmas stockings I made for everyone the 2nd year I worked there? I live out of town & unable to visit, but wanted to give my prayers & thoughts to Dave & all the rest of the family.
Much love to you and yours in this time of sorrow. There is nothing more precious than a "mom".
Mr. Z. Our hearts and prayers go out to you and your family.
Understanding this is a challenging time, I just wanted to reach out letting your family and you know. Our hearts, prays, and love go out to you during your time of bereavement.

Mamma Z, was like my second mother. I loved her and she treated me like her 5th son. She was always in a happy mood and loved life. I will miss her so much. God Speed Mamma Z.
To The Zunk Family, Heaven has gained another Angel. I visited the Westside Social Club a few times and Vera was very kind lady. God Bless her family.
As a patron and member of The West Side Social Club I offer condolences to Vera's family. While I cannot say that I was a very personal friend to Vera and Louie, I always considered them "friends". I enjoyed the food at the restaurant because I found it unique and exceptionally tasty. Chuck Reister first introduced me to Vera and Louie and I visited as often as I could. Sweet dreams and may God bless! I know she will be missed by her family and all who knew her!
