Condolences
Dear Sharon, I am so sorry for your loss. I didn't know your Chuck myself, but several members of my family were fortunate enough to have known him - and all spoke very highly of him. You were my mother's hairdresser for a number of years. She simply thought the world of you and your husband. You were always able to accomodate Mom's schedule (she didn't drive)and you never charged enough for the lovely job you always did. When Mom became unable to get out of the house, you were kind enough to visit her at home and do her hair there. She always looked and felt much better after you'd done your magic! I wonder if you knew that she considered you to be nearly a saint. She was so very grateful for all you did. Her family is grateful, too. I hope you have friends and family who are thoughtful and kind as you are. They will be at your side in this most difficult time - and always. You and your Chuck are in my thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, Lorraine Wasson daughter of Walt and Patti Derr
Dear Sharon, May the love of God surround you during this time of sorrow. You are in our thoughts and prayers. We send our love. Ray and Joan
Our thoughts and prayers to the family. We were blessed to know and work with Chuck, he was a true gentleman with a great sense of humor. Dick & Kathy Sparks
My mother, Doris, is the daughter of Hilda, who was a sister to Clarence Bruning. I remember Chuck and his family well. We lived in the same neighborhood while I was growing up and Chuck used to play in a little band that met at our house. The neighbors enjoyed listening to the band while sitting on their porches in the summer months. Chuck always had a big smile and was always cordial and friendly at the family reunions. He had a great sense of humor as well. He certainly exhibited the love of Christ in his life. Our prayers are with his family.
To Chuck's family: I have such fond childhood memories of Chuck's beautiful voice when we were all members of Mars Hill Church of Christ. May you find comfort and peace knowing he is at Home, singing with the angels. God's Blessings to all of you, Debbie (Woliver) Carmichael
