John V. "Jack" Scott 80, of Indianapolis, passed away April 14, 2009. He was born July 16, 1928 to parents, Mr. and Mrs. James P. Scott, both of whom have preceded him in death. Jack attended Butler University and went on to work for his family owned trucking company. He was an active member of St. Joan of Arc for many years and most recently attended St. Christopher Catholic Church. Jack never knew a stranger, talking to everyone he ever met. He was one of God's special angels. He is survived by his step-brother, Gene Wheeler; niece, Cindy (Delmar, Jr.) Pierce; great-niece, Lanay Lakes; and cousin, Judy Braden. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 16, 2009 at Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W. 10th St., Indianapolis, at 1:00 pm with visitation there from 10:00 am until the time of service.
