Jack was a very nice man. He and his Dad took me and my Dad, Joseph Gallagher, to a Notre Dame football game in 1972. Once he came by our house and told my Mom he had been eating a lot. In the nicest way possible, my Mom teased Jack about not being able to "put down the fork."

My Dad and I had dinner with Jack at Knobby's at 52nd and Keystone in September 1996. Jack was a wonderful fellow and a great parishioner at St. Joan of Arc.

Jack was such a loving and giving man who never asked anything for himself. He was truly a special human being and he is with the Lord right now, talking His leg off and having a grand time seeing his loved ones. Rest in peace Jack.
