Obituary of Anthony Lewis Madley
Anthony Lewis Madley, 78, of Zionsville, IN, died at home, with his wife and daughter by his side, on September 16, 2024.
He was born on July 30, 1946, to Antonia Mervar and Adolph Madley in Indianapolis, IN.
He attended Holy Trinity Church and School. He graduated from Cathedral High School o 1964. He attended Indiana University for one year. Tony Served in the U.S. Army Signal Corp., Ft. Campbell, KY., from February 21, 1966, thru February 1969.
Tony worked for Indiana Bell/AT&T/SBC/Ameritech for his entire career. He retired in 1999 after 30 years. He and Bonnie enjoyed traveling. He enjoyed sports, playing golf, racquetball, and bowling. He was a big IU, Pacers and Colts fan. He and Bonnie had been season Colts Season Ticketholders for 40 years. He enjoyed woodworking and gardening.
Tony is survived by his wife, Bonnie; daughter, Julie Barbour-Henning and son-in-law, Jeff Henning; three grandsons: Justin Barbour, Jakob Barbour and Braden Barbour; and his brother Steven Madley. He was preceded in death by his parents.
No visitation or funeral service will be held at this time, per Tony’s wishes. A celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
