Betty Robinson departed this world after a short battle with cancer on 01/07/16. She was under the care of Heart to Heart Hospice at Zionsville Meadows. Born 09/20/55 to Johnnie and Rosie (Lemons). She is survived by her husband J. W. Robinson of Tennessee, daughter Farah Robinson Kassan, grandchildren Rae, Alex, And Ellie of Indianapolis. Two brothers, James M. Woods and Harvey R. Woods of Elkhart. Three sisters, Mrs. Jerry (Lisa J.) Harris, Mrs. Willie (Deborah D.) Johnson and Mrs. Charles (Angie D.) Stewart, all of Elkhart. She is all so survived by a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family. Betty was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Johnnie L. Woods. Betty enjoyed working as a caregiver to those with Alzheimer's, fishing, and hand-making quilts for her family. Per her final wishes, there will be no formal service after her cremation. Her ashes will be spread at her favorite fishing spot at a later time. The family would like to give a special thanks to the palliative care team at Eskenazi Health, the nursing team at Zionsville Meadows, and Heart to Heart Hospice for their caring and compassionate care in last days.
