Condolences
He was so active in old age. Constantly outside, sitting in the garage, or admiring nature out in the backyard. He was a man of few words but when he did speak, it was always witty or wise. Growing up in Woodpointe it was a trademark to enter the neighborhood and see him outside doing yard work or sitting in the garage with his little pups. My condolences to the family, and prayers.
Oh how Mr John always ALWAYS made my heart smile. He absolutely loved with all he had and he had a LOT! John and Sandy were the best neighbors then they up and moved across the street and sweet Erin, sweet sweet Erin Leah...she was the funkinfarter of her papaws eye!
John was such a warm and wonderful human. I thoroughly enjoyed all of his tinkering around with his collections he would snag at the auctions. He was just all around inspiring to me. He will be missed by so many but he will never be forgotten. A true gem in a world of not so shiney stones. So much love to you all. We were so blessed to have John for 90 years. A true gift he was and will forever be
