Obituary of Antonis M. Hall
In loving memory of Antonis Martel Hall, a cherished soul who left an incredible mark on those fortunate enough to know him, was born to Linda Anderson and Anthony Hall on November 12, 1985. After a few short years here on earth, he gained his wings on February 24, 2024, leaving a legacy of warmth, kindness, and unwavering love. Even though his departure from this world was sudden and unexpected, his impact will be everlasting.
Antonis was able to achieve many personal goals. He pushed himself to further his education by obtaining a certificate in Human Resource Management from Daymar Institute, an associate's and bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Indiana Technical Institute, and a Master of Education in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University. Antonis dedicated eight years to IPS schools, beginning as a special education assistant, transitioning to lead behavior adjustment facilitator, and finally serving as a 6th-grade teacher at Clarence Farrington School 61. Also, during his time with IPS, he served as the boys and girls head basketball coach, racial equity committee co-chair, sixth-grade book study co-chair, served on the positive culture committee, and received recognitions such as staff of the month two years in a row and 2022-2023 Teacher of the Year. In November of 2023, Antonis joined the Wonderful Brotherhood of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. to have an even more significant IMPACT on his community. His passion for coaching, teaching, educating, and serving added vibrancy to his life and brought joy to those who shared his pursuits.
Antonis was a man to admire. Antonis was not just a name but a beacon of kindness, courage, and strength. He was always willing and ready to help others achieve their best. Even though Antonis is not physically present with us, his legacy continues. Antonis leaves a legacy that will live on through his mother, Linda Anderson; grandfather, Orlando Woods; sisters, Kandace, Helenia, Dymond, and Pandora; brothers, Keenan, Kardan, and TJ; significant other Danika Pettis and nieces Angel, Ella, Savannah, and a host of many other nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. Antonis was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Easter Mae Anderson and Katharyn K Ward; father, Anthony Hall, and stepfather, Jerry Gathright.
As we mourn the loss of Antonis, let us also celebrate the beautiful life he lived and the positive impact he had on everyone around him. Antonis will be deeply missed and remembered by friends, students and family alike. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the love he so freely gave during his time with us.
