I am so sad to learn of Randal's passing. He and I were friends at IU in the early 70s. I am sorry that we lost touch. Randal was the kindest, most considerate person I have ever known. Love and peace to his family and God bless Randal.

My condolences to the family. The loss of a loved one is never easy. May our loving God continue to bless and strengthen you as you remember that his Word the Bible at John 5:28, 29 says that there is going to be a resurrection. With this promise it is possible for you to see him again. The best friend a bereaved person can have is our Creator, Jehovah God. We are encouraged to pour out our heart to him in prayer because "he cares for you." Moreover, he promises that all who do so will have their thoughts and feelings soothed by "the peace of God that surpasses all understanding." Randal subbed for me, for music class, at Mary Bryan. I would often see him in the hallway, when he was subbing for other teachers. He was very friendly, and knew a lot about music. He and I used to talk about guitars, bands, and other musical topics. I am sorry to hear that he passed away.
