Obituary of William L. Burnell
William ‘Bill’ Lee Burnell Sr., 67, of Jamestown passed away on September 24, 2016. Bill was born in Indianapolis, IN on September 21, 1949 to William F. Burnell and Vivian M. (Strouse) Speer. Bill held various jobs in the Security and Professional Driving fields. For a small period of time he was an entertainment wrestler. He loved his motorcycles, especially the Harleys. Bill played Santa for the town of Advance and for the family for a number of years. Bill loved his family and friends. Bill was a friend to everyone he met and will be greatly missed by many.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents and wife of 32 years, Joyce A. Burnell; brother, Leonard Burnell; sister, Donna Broadstreet and uncle, Donald Sims. He is survived by his girlfriend Susan Devore; son, William Burnell Jr.; daughters, Linda Cozzolino, Kim Burnell, Tracy Burnell, Cathy Fenter; son-in-law’s, Troy Dungan, Chris White; grandchildren, Leland Service III, Jesse Service, Steven Kennington, Alexis Burnell, Sebastian White, William Burnell III, Vincent Cozzolino, Brayton Burnell, Cassidy Burnell, Devan Dungan, Anastasia White, Aaron Fenter; great grandchildren, Javier Betancourt, Eli Burnell, Marleigh Service, Jimmy Suter, Adrian Burnell, Carter Suter, Addison Burnell and Gabriella Burnell.
