Obituary of Deborah Deer

Deborah L. Deer 60, of Indianapolis, passed away quickly March 5, 2010, after a courageous effort to overcome her condition. She was born 1949 in Minot, N.D. and raised in Indianapolis. She retired from Wausau Insurance in 1987 after 20 years as office supervisor. She traveled and enjoyed reading avidly. Bored she resumed working in 1998 for V4 Consulting and for PWC until her death. She loved her job, the company and fellow employees. An Indycar fanatic, she worked and traveled the circuit before and during her work hiatus. Debbie always displayed many great attributes such as hard work, dependability, and her selfless spirit that defined her life. She demonstrated a passionate commitment to friends and family that is felt by all and will always be remembered. Debbie is survived by husband, Michael Deer; son, Stephen Davis (Victoria); grandsons, Luke and Logan Davis; mother, Anne Catania, all of Indianapolis; sister, Mitzi (Bartle) and David; niece Andrea, of Fort Wayne, IN with abundant friends and extended family. "Grammie" misses most her opportunity to see her boys grow up. Dearly loved and never forgotten by all. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at Stevens Mortuary & Family Center, 5520 W 10th St, Indpls, from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held there on Wednesday, March 10 at 11:00 am.
