Condolences
My condolences to the family, losing a loved is difficult and something no one is truly prepared to endure, at 1 Peter 5 :7 were encouraged to "throw all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you." May you find comfort in God during this difficult time and comfort in his promise of a ressurection. ( John 5:28,29) A promise that will enable you to see your loved one again and enjoy the close relationship you once had.
My condolences to the family. The loss a loved one is never easy. May our loving God continue to bless and strengthen you as you remember his Word the Bible at John 5: 28, 29 says that there is going to be a resurrection. With this promise it is possible for you to see him again. The best Friend a bereaved person can have is our Creator, Jehovah God. At 1 Peter 5:7 we are encouraged to pour out our heart to him in prayer because "he cares for you". Moreover, he promises that all who do so will have their thoughts and feelings soothed by the "peace of God that surpasses all understanding." (Philippians 4:6,7) Please allow God to help you heal by means of his consoling Word, the Bible. May all the many wonderful memories that Joseph your loved one provided comfort you during this most difficult time.
Dear Brickler family,
Joe hired me in right out of college in 1975 to work in the Wishard Microbiology laboratory where I worked along side of Joe until he retired. I have always said that Joe had forgotten more about Microbiology then I would ever hope to know, and I still feel that way today, 30+ years later.
Joe taught me not only how to be a good microbiologist but also how to be a good human being. He was kind and compassionate and a wonderful friend, mentor and boss. Everyone held Joe in the highest regard.
Joe was of an era where home life and work life was kept separate. Although he seldom shared personal details, when he did, the love and pride in his wife and family always shone through. I loved seeing the memorial video, it brought back so many good memories.
He was a good man who impacted my life greatly and he will be missed.
My best to Jean and all of the Brickler family.
Sincerely,
Pat Lineback
Jean and family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of loss. I have a lot of great memories of Uncle Joe, from the yearly vacations to Lafayette to stay at the Club House to the later years in Daytona Beach. Joe was a proud man, loved his family and always had a sparkle in his eye when he spoke of you.
Love, Chris
Please take comfort in the promises from God's word the bible during this very difficult time. Revelation 21:4 "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."JW.ORG

Joe , so sorry to read of the passing of your father . I am sure that I have seen him at St . Christopher Church as that is where my wife and I attend . So sorry for your loss . God Bless you and your family .
My mother-in-law passed on the same day in North Carolina she was blessed with 96 years and I was blessed to be with her the day she passed .
Please accept our sincere condolences. Our hearts go out to you.
Joe and I go back several years thanks to the South Central Association for Clinical Microbiology of which he was one of the founders of the organization. Joe was an outstanding Clinical Microbiologist and an expert in Mycobacateria tuberculosis. He taught me much and I will forever grateful for his mentoring and friendship. My fellow colleagues will miss him greatly but are thankful that he touched our lives and had a major impact on our careers.
I often referred to him as Rev. Joe Brickler, due to his preaching to us on how to be good clinical microbiologists. He was one of a kind and I extend my deepest sympathy to his family.
Blessings,
Jim Snyder
