Celebration of Life
Condolences
I worked with Maureen at Indiana Farm Bureau in the Word Center in the early 80’s. Very nice lady. INCREDIBLE typist. Typed at least 120 words per minute. Sorry that she’s gone.
Ross and Chris,
I am so sorry that I am just now learning about the passing of you mother. You both know I thought she was amazing! It's coming up on a year since she has passed and though I'm sure it's not easy at all, I hope you can find some happiness in knowing how many people loved her and especially loved her work in the court room. I'm thinking about you with a sad heart. Julie
I am so sorry to hear of your loss, Marie. Hugs. I know its been a long time. I remember the wedding. You and Joe were kind.
Jim and I just heard of Maureen's passing. I am so sorry. My heart breaks for her kids as I know they all loved their parents dearly. RIP Maureen

My condolences to the family. The loss of a loved one is never easy. May our loving God continue to bless and strengthen you as you remember that his Word the Bible at John 5:28,29 says that there is going to be a resurrection. With this promise it is possible to see her again. The best Friend a bereaved person can have is our Creator, Jehovah God. We are encouraged at 1 Peter 5:7 to pour out our heart to him in prayer "because he cares for you." Moreover, he promises that all who do so will have their thoughts and feelings soothed by "the peace of God that surpasses all understanding." (Philippians 4:6, 7) Please allow God to help you heal by means of his consoling Word, the Bible. May all the many wonderful memories that Maureen your loved one provided comfort you during this most difficult time.
Maureen was an excellent lawyer, teacher, and Commissioner. I learned a great deal from her about working with families for children and was proud to call her a friend. She was one of the first lawyers I had a case with in family law and I am so glad.
She worked tirelessly for her family. I was sad to watch her struggle and be in pain these last years. She did it because that's who she was. I am proud to have called her a friend all of these years.
May she be given all of the blessings and riches heaven may bestow. She will be missed.

I have known Maureen for 35 years. She was one of the first lawyers I met in Indianapolis and she was also a Commissioner then. I learned a great deal about being a lawyer from Maureen. She was a tenacious advocate but fair and always wanted what was best for the children.
I hated watching her struggle with physical issues these last years. She kept on slugging because she loved her own boys. She was so proud of both of you. If there is anything I can do for the two of you please don't hesitate to call upon me.
Your mother will be missed greatly.
Marie,
I had only a few brief occasions to have professional contact with Maureen -- but I was always aware of how close the two of you were. I am deeply and sincerely sorry for your losing her, especially at such a young age.
Sincerest condolences to the family. I always enjoyed having Maureen appear in my court on family law cases. She was always prepared and respected by her peers. She did a good job on behalf of her clients and always seemed to seek results that were intended to help the family as a whole. She was a true professional. Her presence within the field of family law attorneys will be missed.
Judge Mark Smith
Hendricks Superior Court
I am saddened to hear of Maureen's passing, and send my deepest sympathy to her family and friends. I was in school (Ball State and I.U. Law at Indianapolis) and at times would see here when she was in Hendricks County on a case. She was an intelligent, friendly woman who exhibited the highest level of morals and ethics.
My heart breaks for the entire Gaddy Family. I just found out. I know there are no words to ease the pain of this loss. The loss of such a dedicated and loving woman. Please know you are all in my prayers at this time and always.
I pray you find some comfort in the days ahead knowing that Heaven has one more Angel. Praying for your family.

I am so sorry to hear of the death of Maureen. The passing away of a loved one is always with much sorrow. May we have faith and confidence in the Bible's promise of a time when pain, sickness and death are a thing of the past (Revelation 21:3, 4). My condolences are with the family at this difficult time.
Deepest sympathy to all! A beautiful soul that all who met her had to love her.
Marie,
We're so sorry to hear of Maureen's passing. Our thoughts are with you.
