Frankie Mae Jones Ragan 71, of Indianapolis, passed away on April 17, 2010 in Indianapolis, IN. Frankie was born in Amos, KY on April 20, 1938 to the late Frank and Ruthie Jones. She moved to Speedway in 1951 and attended Speedway High School. After high school, Frankie entered retail and sales management. She then moved into dry cleaning management, where she managed Clampitt and Griffith Cleaners, where she retired in 1987. After she retired, Frankie became extremely devoted to her children and grandchildren. She loved and lived life to its fullest. She enjoyed reading, bird watching, and travel and enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren. Frankie was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Ragan. She is survived by her children, Mark and Anita Ragan, Greg and Karen Ragan, Paul Ragan, Kevin Ragan and Sheryl and Jim Linn; her sister and brother in law, Lila and Francis Denton; her grandchildren, Abi, Barbara and Sam; her great granddaughter, Lily; her nieces and nephews, Jeff Denton, Neal Denton, Frank and Debbie Denton; her great nieces and nephews, Kyle, Jenny, Holly and Alyssa; and her dog, Buffy. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W 10th St, Indpls, at 1:00 p.m., with visitation there from 11:00 ? 1:00 p.m. Contributions may be made to the Ruth Lilly Hospice of Clarian. www.stevensmortuary.net
