Condolences
I am Margaret Burton's great niece. She lived across the street from Luba. I just learned of Luba's passing. I am saddened to have not known at the time.
I have such sweet memories of her. She was a wonderful person and a great friend to my Aunt Lucile.
My condolences,
Dawn Roush
My condolences to the family. The loss of a loved one is never easy. But may you be comforted by God's word the bible that says there is going to be a resurrection. Acts 24:15 says there is going to be a resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous, and with this hope it is possible for you to see her again. More of God's promises found at Rev. 21:3,4 talk about a restored paradise where the human family will have the prospect of enjoying life without end, free of sickness, disease and death as we welcome back our dear loved ones. May these bible verses strengthen and sustain you along with the many bible promises found at www.jw.org. May all the many wonderful memories that Luba your loved one provided comfort you during this most difficult time.
There are some exceptional individuals that you do not need to know for a long time in order to admire. Luba was one of those for us. We were friends for only a dozen or so years, and Katya and I ware impressed by Luba’s gentle, yet strong, spirit from the first time we met.
Luba’s life was long, eventful and filled with accomplishment. It spanned an ocean and three countries. Throughout it all, Luba remained Bulgarian at heart, no matter that she left her homeland forever as a young woman when she went to Germany to study medicine before World War Two.
Life in Germany during the war was difficult. Luba was forced to labor in a factory. Fortunately, Luba and her husband managed to leave war-torn Europe to start a new life in America. But life in America was not always easy for Luba, yet she made the best of it and raised three children and a served as a medical doctor.
And, though all of the ups and downs of her long life, Luba maintained her grace and wit—and above all—her warmth and interest in and care for others. She seemed to be everyone’s friend because she honestly cared for people. Such individuals are rare, and you are blessed if you know one—and even more so if that person is your friend. Luba was such a rare and wonderful person.
It’s not just what one does in one’s life that is important. Of even greater importance is the effect one has on others. We believe Luba’s enduring legacy will be that she touched us all with her gentleness, grace and good will.
May God bless her soul.

We're thinking of your family, and hoping you feel comforted by the warmth of many happy memories. From Kirk and Rita Horn, Sam, Jack and Caroline
I first learned of Luba’s passing prior to yesterday’s church service. Luba was a sweet and wonderful person, and so very, very kind to me. She always had a kind and gentle smile for me as I served at church with Father. She will be greatly missed by everyone in our congregation and the church Sisterhood. May our Lord comfort her entire family, and may Luba’s Memory be Eternal.
Jeanette, Peter, and George,
I was saddened to see the passing of your Mom. She, as your Father, instilled in each of you to strive to be the best person you could be and enjoy the beautiful world of music. I am positive that your parents are now together and proud of the family they created. Please remember that every day you had with them was special and continue to share their values with your family and friends.

Luba was a wonderful, kind and fun person. She always had her family as her top priority and exuded warmth to all who she interacted with. I had the privilege of spending many hours/nights at the Komsiski home on Marrison Place while growing up and she was always a joy.
Our sympathies to Jeanette, Peter, George and the rest of the family.
