Jack P. Reed, 80, of Indianapolis passed away on October 19, 2015. He was born in Noblesville, IN on August 31, 1935 to Donald and Jean E. Reed. He was preceded in death by three children, Cindi Taguchi, Corey Reed, and Jason Reed. Jack was the former owner of Reed’s Flower Shop for over 25 years and recently the manager of the W. Washington Budget Truck rental where he had worked for 25 years. Jack was a Mason and a member of the Lions Club. Jack had love and passion for Sprint car racing and was the former driver and now owner of # 8. He is survived by his loving girlfriend of 37 years, Roxanne Jacobs; sons, Mike Reed and Tony Reed; daughters Julie (Gary) Reed Brown and Laura Reed; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 23, at 7:00 p.m. in Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W. 10th St., Indpls with visitation beginning at 4:00 p.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Glendale Seventh-Day Adventist School 2900 E. 62nd Street Indianapolis, IN 46220
