Janet Brodnik, 93, of Indianapolis passed away May 9, 2015. She was born May 3, 1922 in Indianapolis, IN to Frank and Martina (Lindauer) Seufert. She was employed at Urbancic Hardware as a salesperson and at Indianapolis Public School system in maintenance and janitorial at Washington High School. Janet enjoyed the company of family and friends and sports, especially the sporting events of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Janet was preceded in death by her loving husband, Louis Brodnik whom she was married to for 46 years. She is survived by her sons, Charles (Hester), Lawrence (Mary Jo), Michael (Christine) and Thomas (Celeste) Brodnik; daughter, Mary Ann (Rick) Rosner; brothers, Eugene, Alvin, Norbert and Walter Seufert and sisters, Esther Ballard and Maranda Pazzo. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 12 from 4 pm – 8 pm in Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W. 10th St., Indpls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 13 at 10 am in St. Christopher Catholic Church, 5301 W. 16th St., Speedway. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
