Jeanette Gandolf, 83, of Indianapolis passed away December 13, 2014. She was born December 9, 1931 in Indianapolis, IN to Walter Joseph and Mary Ellen (McDonald) Krebs. Jeanette attended Holy Trinity Grade School and graduated from St. Mary's Academy, and worked in data entry. She was a lifetime member of weight watchers and was also a member of the Red Hat Society. Jeanette also volunteered as an after school tutor at Ben Davis High School. She attended St. Michael Catholic Church before becoming a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her 2 husbands, Isaac Estel Mayfield to whom she was married for 27 years and Robert Gandolf to whom she was married to for 23 years; son, Timothy Mayfield Sr. and sister, Mary Jane Quatrocchi. Jeanette is survived by her children, Vincent Mayfield, Walt Mayfield, Janice McMahon, Jo Ellen Mayfield, Chris Mayfield, Andy Mayfield and step-son, Dick Gandolf; brother, Rod Krebs; sister, Joanna Konechnik; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17 from 4 pm - 8 pm in Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W. 10th St., Indianapolis. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 18 at 1 pm in St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1375 South Mickley Avenue, Indianapolis. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
