Patricia A. Rains, 80, of Mooresville passed away November 16, 2014. She was born March 17, 1934 in Indianapolis, IN to Charles C. and Wilma L. (Swain) Schubert. Patricia was a mother to everyone, always thinking of others. She made sure grave stones were put on her grandfather, grandmother and uncle's graves. Money was donated by her brothers, sisters and cousins. That was one of the things that she was so caring about. She taught bible school at St. Christopher's. She was very caring with her animals. People use to say if they passed away they would love to come back as one of her dogs. Patricia enjoyed going on cruises and camping and collecting antique furniture. She was employed as a union representative, at lady garment workers, as a business agent and district manager, and was a representative of Democratic National Convention of Pennsylvania, she retired from Johnstown Regional. Patricia was preceded in death by her sisters, Phyllis Bouher, Beverly Dotts and Barbara Barger. She is survived by her children, Brenda Craig and William Rains; sisters, Charlotte (Buck) Glenn, Marilyn (Ray) Dye, Sharon (Stanley) Harris and Pamela Ford and brothers, Charles (Brenda) Schubert and John (Joanna) Schubert. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 21 from 4 pm - 8 pm in Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W. 10th St., Indianapolis. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 22 at 10 am in St. Christopher Catholic Church, 5301 W. 16th St., Speedway. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.
