Robert Anthony Koskey, 56, of Indianapolis passed away September 28, 2014. He was born March 29, 1958 in Indianapolis, IN to Gene A. and Jane E. Koskey. Bob was a graduate from Ben Davis High School. He was employed as construction materials estimator for the Overhead Door Company for 32 years. Bob enjoyed several past times during his lifetime including art/drawing, wood working, and the game of darts and cooking. He was a passionate Indianapolis Colts fan. Many of his friends will always remember the night before the Indy 500 gatherings that Bob and Shirley hosted at their home which was located adjacent to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Bob was a caring father, son, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend. He will be dearly missed by all. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Shirley Jean Koskey; parents, Gene A. and Jane E. Koskey; daughters, Melanie (Koskey) Parker and Juliene Koskey; brothers, Dennis, David and Jon Koskey; sister, Jennifer (Koskey) Jones; grandsons, Jacob Campbell, Brandon Bryant, Michael and Jeremiah Larry; granddaughter, Alyssa Parker; grandkids father, Aurelius Larry and daughter's fiancé, Richard Swinney. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4 from 12 pm - 4 pm in Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W. 10th St., Indianapolis.
