Perhaps they are not stars but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones shines down to let us know they are happy -Eskimo Legend We are so sorry for your loss. Try to keep your heads up knowing he is now shining down on all of you from up above. love, The Hewitts
We took a Halloween family vacation to Walt Disney World October 2010, Grandparents, and both families. Everyone dressed up in costumes for the trick or treating that evening at the park and had our faces painted. The kids and adults were given trick or treat bags from the park, they were about the size of a brown paper lunch bag. We all started breaking up into smaller groups, nieces with Uncle Kevin and Jordan with Uncle Fred and Kyle not parting with mommy and chauffeured stroller hitting our favorite treat stations. What Jordan and I found out is that once you filled up your bag, Disney gave you another bag to keep trick or treating till the park closed. Did not really think too much about this courtesy when we meet up with Kevin again. We started comparing our findings with each other and where we found them at. Kevin wanted to know where we got the Hersey Gold nuggets from and took off towards Tom Sawyer’s Island. By this time me and Jordan had two full bags a piece and was calling it good, going to hit the rides. At the end of the night we returned to the rooms bragging about who found the best candy and how many times we got to ride our favorite rides. Kevin basically smiled and stated he had us all beat but did not go any further, apparently Kyle may have been in danger of being pushed out of the stroller. The day of departure we are at Orlando Airport and Kevin’s bag is pulled aside. Apparently his bag was way over weight. When it was opened he had it over packed with candy from the Disney trick or treating, his penalty charges for the extra weight to keep his candy was $50.00, but he was not parting with any of it and was trying to eat as much as he could, and moving some of his candy to the other luggage before closing his bag back up. I will always remember his sweet tooth and the joyful little boy that it brought out in him.
Arletta, Jordan, Kyle and the Mills family. We are so sorry for your loss. Kevin was a great person and will be truly missed.
Arletta, we are so sorry to hear the loss of Kevin. Our hearts go out to you and your family. We want to support you and the boys during this difficult time. Love, The Gillette's
