Obituary of Jacquelyn Benoit
Jacquelyn "Jacquie" Lee (Weddell) Benoit, 71, ­of Warsaw, IN, passed away on Wednesday,
September 10, 2014.
Jacquie was born on November 11, 1942, the youngest of two children of the late Charles A. and Maryjane (Mendenhall) Weddell of Danville, IL. Jacquie graduated from Danville High School and she earned a degree from the National Louis University.
Jacquie raised two sons, Kevin and Bryan Wall in Bourbonnais, IL. She worked for J.R. Short Milling in Kankakee, IL, where she met and later married Richard Benoit on April, 25, 1987. Together they enjoyed her two sons and Richard's two sons and families. After moving to Indianapolis, IN, Jacquie worked for the Archdiocese of Indianapolis for eight years and retired in the spring of 2000. Jacquie and Richard moved to Wichita, KS and lived there for 10 years. They then moved to Warsaw, IN and have been there for two years.
Jacquie leaves behind her husband of 27 years, Richard Benoit; three children, Kevin Wall, Indianapolis, IN; Chad (Jennifer) Benoit, Edmond, OK; and Gary Benoit, Arkansas City, KS; 10 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Bryan Wall; a brother, Charles Weddell and her special grandmother that raised her, Beulah Daniels.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 2:00 pm (EST) at the home of Jane and Bill Lee, 816 Columbia Court, Avon, IN.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the American Cancer Society at: www.donate.cancer.org/index.
