Obituary of Gene Yovanovich
Gene Carter "Geno" Yovanovich 72, of Indianapolis, passed away March 21, 2011. Gene was born May 3, 1938 to Nick and Maxine Yovanovich who preceded him in death. He retired in 2000 from Link Belt (Bearing Division) after 41 years. He was a member of Charity Tabernacle. Geno loved golfing, fishing and remote control airplanes. Survivors include his wife, Lois Ann Yovanovich; daughter, Penny Dawson; sister Carole (Alan) Young; sisters-in-law, Vicky and Virginia Yovanovich; and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by many cousins especially thanks to Sue Ann Yovanovich for her loving kindness she showed to Gene. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers and a son. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 26 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Stevens Mortuary and Family Center, 5520 W. 10th St, Indpls. with a service at 1 p.m. www.stevensmortuary.net
