Geraldine A. Wagner, 84, of Indianapolis passed away March 29, 2014. She was born May 31, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan to Cornelius and Anna (Hickey) O'Connor. Geraldine was a member of Daughters of Isabella. She worked for the Fayette County School with developmentally disabled children and volunteered many years for the Fayette County Library. She enjoyed reading, genealogy, photography and was very proud of her Irish heritage. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Virgil L. Wagner; children, Barbara (John, deceased) Williams, Therese (Alan) Whitlock, Bernadette (Darren) Goins, Susan (David) Douglass, David (Geni) Wagner, Mary (Jim) Hopkins, Joe (Melissa) Wagner, Mark (Michelle) Wagner and John (Laurie) Wagner; sisters, Cornelia O'Connor and Ruth Martell; 19 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 3 from 9 am - 11 am with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 232 W. 9th St., Connersville, IN. Interment will be held in Dale Cemetery, Connersville, IN. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fayette County Library, 828 N.
