Irene Everhart Foist, 94, of Indianapolis passed away January 1, 2014. She was born in Montgomery County, IN on August 21, 1919 to Elmer T. and Ila M. Everhart. Irene worked for Link-Belt, where she retired after many years of faithful service. She was a devoted member of Fairfax Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Melvin H. Foist, 2 sisters and 1 brother. Irene is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Ann (Jon) Small and Susan Kay (Danny) Martin, 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4 from 9 am - 11 am with a funeral service at 11 am in Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W. 10th St., Indpls. Irene will be laid to rest in Riverview Cemetery.
