Obituary of Glen Spiker

Glen Ronald Spiker, 79, of Indianapolis passed away December 12, 2013. He was born in Wetmore, KS on December 17, 1933 to Roscoe and Helen (Scott) Spiker, both precede him in death. He is also preceded in death by his siblings, Russell, Sumner, Richard and Linda Spiker. Glen served honorably in the U.S Army from 1956 to 1958. He was stationed in Germany and Fort Ord, CA. He was a systems programmer with Rexnord Bearing Division and retired in 1999. He loved to travel and he was an avid car and motorcycle enthusiast. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 58 years, Betty Lou (Davis) Spiker; daughters, Kathy (Jaimie) Ross, Belinda (Ron) Jordan, Robin McClain, Kay (John) Pontius; brothers, Jerry Spiker and Max Spiker; sisters Betty (Bob) McMillan, Patty (Rick) Morin; 10 grandchildren Tyler Pontius, John Pontius, Christopher McClain, Bryce McClain, Michelle Holmes, Andrea Sawyer, Shawn (Shannon) Jordan, Cathy (Monte) Womack, Ronnie (Becky) Jordan and Todd (Erin) Jordan; thirteen great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, one aunt, Donna Judah and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 18 from 11 am - 1 pm with a funeral service at 1 pm in Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W. 10th St., Indpls.
