He was proud of their many accomplishments. He enjoyed wildlife, feeding his backyard pets, and regular trips to Eagle Creek to watch the birds and deer. True to his Irish heritage, Bill loved watching Notre Dame football games on Saturdays. Bill is survived by his wife, Linda Marie (Konechnik) Dalton, who he married on May 11, 1971; three sons, Mike (Tracey), John (Stacie), and Scott (Christy); nine grandchildren, Hunter, Mackenzie, Nathan, Emily, Garrett, Gracie, Nicholas, Madelyn, and Lanie; sisters, Loretta (James) Miller, Helen Dalton, Patty (Hal) Coonfield and in-laws, Nancy and Dave Kronoshek, Frank and Kathy Konechnik.
