Anna V. Vaughn Roberts, 92 was born March 25, 1921 to John Vaughn and Anna Marie Daley Vaughn. She had nine siblings, one of which was her twin brother James. All have preceded her in death except for her loving baby sister Eileen Priest. Ann attended St Anthony Catholic grade school where she fell in love with William (Bill) Roberts in the eighth grade. They married August 23, 1943 and raised six children Billy (Cathie), Bobby (Marie), Michael (Anna), Patty (Beverly), Judy (David), and Carrie (Duane). They grew up as members of St Michael's Catholic Church in Indianapolis. Her husband Bill (1999) and her son Bobby (2007) greeted her at Heaven's Gate. Ann worked at HP Wasson, and served as county court clerk in Speedway, and as a childcare giver for 12 years at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Nursery School/ kids day out. She dedicated her life to raising her family, and the result of that was evident in her life. She has 14 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Holidays in her home were special and blessed events filled with life and love.
