I only had the pleasure to meet Mary once at work, but I will always remember her long legs and beautiful smile.
I did not have the opportunity to work with Mary very much. However, The few times I had talked to her and seen her, the one thing I won't forget is her smile! Mary had a smile that would bring a certain light to any situation. Her smile spoke the words needed when verbally the words were not available for anyone she interacted with! Rest in sweet peace Mary and make sure that bright smile is shining down on all of us here!
I am so sorry for your loss. I didn't get to meet your wonderful daughter & wife. Thanks for e-mailing me .She went thru so much ! I am sorry . If I can help in any way let me know .
I was very saddened to hear about my childhood friend's passing. I remember meeting her at a summer school program at Arlington Elementary and then reconnecting at Croninger Elementary. I also spent time with her family as a child in their home. I will never forget her smile and how smart she was. Sending up many prayers to her family. She will be missed, and will always have a place in my heart.
Brent - I read of your wife's passing with real sorrow this past week and just wanted to give you our family's condolences. We'll be keeping you and your son in our prayers. Cindy Perrill
Mary was one of the sweetest students I ever taught. She was a student in my fourth grade class at Croninger. To know Mary was to love her. She was kind to everyone and had a smile that won your heart. I knew her later when she met Brent and was able to share that joy with her. I am truly saddened for everyone by her passing, and I loved Mary, too.

To Mary's family: I am so sorry. I am deeply saddened. Mary was such a kind, sweet person. Mary and I were childhood friends through high school where we spent four years together in Cross Country. I have a lot of fond memories of her. She was always so positive and focused. She was a great role model. I'm so glad to have had her a part of my life. I regret not trying harder to reconnect after high school. Your family is in my prayers.

Patti, Wayne and Patrick- I am SO sorry for your great loss. Hopefully you remember me from Croninger. Mary meant the world to me growing up and most of my memories about elementary involve her. ALways fun, happy memories involving her. You were always the most welcoming family when she had guests. That really means something to have a warm, loving, supportive family. The first time I met her was the first day of Kindergarten when she would not quit crying and didn't have anyone to talk to when Patti left her. I went up to her and tried to calm her down and that was it. Me, Mary and Carrie! I remember eating Papa John's, watching movies, playing Super Nintendo, playing basketball and dancing/ lip syncing at your house while she was wearning that Archie and Veronica night shirt! I remember how much fun we had riding horses at Red Cedar (despite the dog bite she got!)and how much fun we had when she came to my new house. She was such a gentle, caring soul and you should be so proud to have raised such an amazing person. I feel honored that such an amazing person was my friend. Brent and Scott- Hopefully you read the above portion and can see how amazing she was. I remember that I bumped into Mary at a St. Francis FB game that I think you were playing in against them. From what I remember it seems that you were either just engaged or about to be and she couldn't have been happier. I'm so glad you had her in your lives and she had you. There's nothing more important in life than the ones you love. I can't imagine what this will and has done to you but I hope that you find peace amidst the chaos and tragedy.
Mary was a childhood friend and was one of the sweetest people I have ever known. My heart aches for her family and all those who loved her. May she rest in peace. She will always be in my heart and memories.
You are in my thoughts and prayers. Mary was always one of the friendliest and kindest people I know. Heaven is definitely gaining a beautiful spirit. I feel blessed to have met her and to have called her a friend.
Brent my heart is breaking for your loss. Cancer is such a horrible way to watch those you love suffer. Please know that I am praying for comfort for you. Take care of yourself and Scotty and please know that I will help in any way I can.
Brent, Scotty, and family. There are never enough words to express the sadness and sorrow that has filled my heart. The memories of Mary will carry on for years to come, but know that she is at peace and she will look down on and protect you! Brent, your Plainfield family mourns for your loss and we are here for you if you need anything. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this saddened time! Love, Julie
