I will miss u my friend! You were a super guy and I miss u every day. Rest in peace and god be with u and your family and number 1! Luv U!
Sabotin's Don and Chris King would like to pass along our sincere condolences. I remember many times as youngsters staying at the old house on Medford during our days at Holy Trinity school. I remember Butch being there and he pretty much let us do what we wanted. As we grew older it was a common for me to see him at the Nash and keep up with where all the kids were. A great man will be missed. Don King
Our family is in shock. Mom and I,all of us are heartbroken. I didn't see Uncle Butchie often, but when I did we always gave each other a big bear hug.To me he was always a big strong bear of a man. I always greeted him with "Hey goodlooking". He would laugh and tell me how pretty I was. Butchie was 15 when I was born and since I was at grandmas every day I grew up around him and Dave. He would take me for walk to Big Grandmas house. When I got tired he'd carry me on his shoulders. I remember his stereo and his record albums in grandmas fancy parlor on Haugh St. He loved Theolonious Monk,Elvis and Jerry Lee Lewis. When he went in the navy grandma was a nervous wreck. There was a time when she hadn't heard from him for a while, so she called THE NAVY and demanded to know where her son was. Come to find out he was in the hospital. He had broken his leg in a motorcycle accident and didn't want to worry her. THE NAVY made him call his mother immediately. When he got out he came home to Haughville with about 20 friends on motorcycles. Men and women. What a party. Grandma cooked for 3 days. She was so happy, she loved a good party. Grandpa was not so happy. What good times. Aunt Mariella I am so sorry. I know you'll miss him forever. To all my cousins, again I'm so sorry. I will remember him often and with much Love. GOID BLESS YOU ALL.
I have a lot of fond memories of Butch at the NASH. Mariella I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
Dear Mary and children. I was so sorry to hear of Butch's passing. Please accept my sincere condolences as I know how sad this is for all of you. As you know, Butchie and I were very close friends during our childhood on Haugh street. We grew up together and did all the adventurous things that boys did back then. It was a great childhood. As the years passed we fished and golfed together many times. I remember when he joined the navy and was assigned to his aircraft carrier in norfolk virgina. I went with him and his mom and dad out to norfolk to meet his ship. We had a great time together and along with his mom and dad we put him on his ship and watched him sail away. I didn't see Butchie for 4 years after that as I joined the Marine Corps the next year. Eventually we both got out of military service and began our friendship again. Butchie was a guy you remember. He had a presence about him and he was truly a friend you could trust. I was happy to be able to play golf with him recently. I will miss him as I know you will. He was one good man. Love you. Please take care.

I have known Butch for only a few years! I started cleaning Mariella and Butches House about 5 months ago! Mariella, Butch thought the world of you and always called u number 1! I love both of you alot and I thought the world of Butch! You will be in my prayers.
I known Butchie since I was in diapers and too this day, he would let everyone know, which was kinda embarrasing, but that was Butch. I will miss a dear friend. Butch I will say a special prayer for you everyday at 2:45 since you where always on time for a drink and a laugh. Marcella you where always number 1 to him
Vince/Jeff/Phil/Julie/Eric/Mariella Butch was always great to be around. I knew him a kid when he was my neighbor and my coach at Thatcher, as well as when we both got older and we talked at Rookies or the Nash. The Cmehil Family has you in our prayers on the passing of our friend Butchie.
