Obituary of Lana Hale
Lana K. (Hedge-Braughton) Hale, 69 of Nineveh, IN passed away on July 4, 2013. She was born in Indianapolis, IN on September 11, 1943 to Edwin D. and Edith I. (Peck) Hedge. Lana graduated from Whiteland High School in 1961. In 1976 she married her loving husband Larry Hale. She worked as head bartender for Hilton in the Indianapolis airport for 25 years and recently retired from Federal Express. Lana was a loving and devoted mother, wife, grandmother and friend. She was fun loving, warm, compassionate lady. She always had a smile. Lana will be deeply missed. She is preceded in death by her parents and survived by her husband Larry, daughter Kathy (William) Callahan, brother Edwin (Karen) Hedge, Niece Glenda Lindsey, step daughters Cathy (Jeff) Smith and Tina (Jeff) Patterson, and seven grandchildren, Brandon. Sarah, Meranda, Kayla, Myleiah, Jessica and Josh.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday July 10, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in Stevens Mortuary 5520 W. 10th St., Indpls with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in West Ridge Park Cemetery, Indpls. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
