Obituary of Gloria Bryant

Gloria Marie Bryant, 55, of Indianapolis went to be with the Lord on May 1, 2013. She was born in Highland Park, Michigan on May 12, 1957 to Melvin Calvin and Marva Bryant, who both precede her in death. Gloria graduated from junior high in 1972 and high school in 1976. She was a student at IUPUI to receive a Bachelor's Degree in Business and also attended Ivy Tech. She worked for Farm Bureau Insurance, Indiana Federal Credit Union, Kmart and Mercy and Truth Ministries. She also enjoyed being a Mary Kay Consultant. Gloria was a licensed insurance underwriter with an earned Associate's Degree in Business in 1987. She was a licensed minister for Greater New Hope Church, New Beginnings Church, Power of God Fellowship and New Wineskin Ministries, where she was also a licensed ordained alter worker. Gloria was an avid helper in elementary schools and was an excellent advocate for the mentally challenged and handicapped at Mercy and Truth Ministries. She also took counseling and training for Biblical Counseling. She is survived by her loving spouse of 12 years, Christopher Resnover; daughter, Christina Resnover; brother, Melvin Bryant; sisters, Melinda Steward and Darlene Boston; niece, Lakesha Boston and nephews, Maurice and Charles Boston. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 11 at 12 pm in First Free Will Baptist Church, 2433 N. Barnes Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46208. A special thanks to Ms. Jones, Mercy and Truth Ministries, God's Temple of Deliverance and Niko Scott. Also thanks to all of those who have helped and supported us through this time.
