Shirley Jean Montgomery, 79, of Brownsburg passed away April 2, 2013. She was born on May 17, 1933 to Fred and Mildred Woodward, both preceding her in death. Shirley was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 41 years, David George Montgomery who passed away in 1993. She is survived by her sister, Betty Lou Webber; brother, Phillip George (Penny) Woodward; children, Michael Lee (Sandy) Montgomery, Clara Elaine (Steve) Stewart and David Alan (Carrie) Montgomery; 8 grandchildren, David George (Carrie) Montgomery II, Joy Marie (Michael) Skidmore, Stephanie Lynn Stewart, Danielle Nicole Stewart, Katie Jean Stewart, Kristie Lee Stewart, Alan David Montgomery and Aaron David Montgomery; and 4 great grandchildren, David George Montgomery III, Jacob Lee Montgomery, Shaelyn Rose Skidmore and Michael Robert Noel Skidmore. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 5 from 4 pm - 8 pm with a rosary at 7 pm at Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W. 10th St., Indpls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 6 at 10 am at St. Malachy Catholic Church, 9833 E. Co. Rd. 750 N., Brownsburg. Interment will follow at St. Malachy Cemetery.
