Obituary of Harold McIntosh

Harold W. McIntosh, 58, of Indianapolis passed away March 22, 2013. He was a plumber and general contractor. He could fix anything and everything. He loved to fish and be outdoors. He loved horses. He was an artist and enjoyed painting, drawing and poetry. In his younger years, he traveled often and enjoyed it very much. He loved to read and strong vocabulary was very important to him. He never stopped wanting to learn new things. He was a funny man who enjoyed laughing and making others laugh. He had a passion for music like The Doors, The Who and The Rolling Stones. He is preceded in death by his father, Clay McIntosh. Harold is survived by his children, Abby, Willie and Sarah; sister, Sallie McIntosh-Craw; brother, Terry (Ronnie) Myers; step-sisters, Margaret Oliphant, Kathy Holmes and Carol Gwenn; step-brothers, Tom Oliphant, Ben Oliphant and Vernon Long; mother and step-father, Robert and Amanda Oliphant; 5 grandchildren; best friend, Dave Combs and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 28 from 5 pm - 7 pm with a funeral service at 7 pm in Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W. 10th St., Indpls.
