Condolences
Ron and I were 2nd cousins who lived down the street from each other. I was out of the state at the time of his passing and was unaware until later.
What I remember about Ron was his contagious smile and laugh. We drove around Speedway together in high school, went to their lake house, dressed up like hippies in the 60"s to pull a prank on a friend, drove to Florida together, and spent a day at the lake riding wave runners. I loved Ron for being Ron--so personable, kind, funny
I went to high school with Ron. Loved him dearly. Told my sister that I think he was probably the only person in our class that everyone liked. My stepfather was Paul Capes who did breakfast with Ron thru Chapel Rock. Paul kept me up to date on Ron. I really appreciated when he came to the funeral home when my mother died. My thoughts are with your family.
I am so sorry. He was a great guy! We are thinking of you,
Dear Ron, How fortunate I am to have you as my friend. The good times laughing together, going to Florida and meeting the bottomless-bowl-of-shrimp. We almost reached the bottom. So many other times. Thank you for your friendship, kindness, for being Ron. Paul
I was so sorry to hear about Ron. I remeber celebrating our birthdays together with my mom family and Ron's. Ron and I were born 3 days apart at Coleman Hospital in Indy. We spent a lot of time together growing up as our mothers were best friends. We lost touch in recent years but I think of him and John often. My deepest sympathy.
Sherri and I are deeply saddened to hear of Ron's passing. He was always the most cheerful and most friendly person in our class. My memories of him have always included that hearty laugh. May your family's sorrows be softened by God's grace.
