Obituary of Winnie Sibotshiwe

Winnie Sibotshiwe died at home with her loving family by her side on December 9th after a long battle with cancer. Winnie was born in Mutare, Zimbabwe September 12, 1949, the daughter of Henry and Grace Nyanhongo. Winnie married the love of her love William Teke Sibotshiwe in 1968 who proceeded her in death. She possessed a contagious smile and an entertaining sense of humor. Throughout her life she maintained a sweet and simple demeanor that won the trust and hearts of many, who even now are being changed by her witness of constant nurturing love and faith. Her signature gift of joy, shown through her constant smiling and laughter will never be forgotten. She possessed a true servant's heart. Winnie faithfully cared for family and friends through her love gardening and delicious cooking. A woman of faith and the heart of our family, Winnie shaped their spirituality by her tireless Christian example. She is s survived by her children : Catherine, Challenge (Maureen), Tidings, Taurai; granddaughter Caron; sister Glenda , brothers Solomon, Gibson (Rhoda) and Michael (Joyce) ; nieces Tendai (Mahlon), Tarisai, Glenda; nephews Tapiwa, Tawanda, Tshaka; cousins Bright, Nyasha, Ashley.
