Obituary of Dolores Konechnik
Dolores Josephine Konechnik passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2012. She was born on July 4, 1930 to Philip and Josephine Udovich (Deceased). Dolores was a devoted wife to Louie (deceased), a loving mother and special Grandma Dee Dee to her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Dalton (William); grandchildren, Michael Dalton (Tracey); great grandchildren, Hunter, Mackenzie and Nathan. Grandson, John Dalton (Stacie); great grandchildren, Emily, Garrett and Grace. Grandson, Scott Dalton (Christy); great grandchildren, Nicholas, Madelyn and Lanie. Son, Frank Konechnik (Kathy) and daughter, Nancy Kronoshek (David); granddaughter, Jennifer Punswick (Kevin); great grandchildren, Joseph, Lucia, Samuel and John. Granddaughter, Suzanne Stadler (Phil); great grandchildren, Henry, Louis and Josephine. Granddaughter, Julianne Brott (Matthew); great grandchildren, David and soon-to-be Caroline. Sisters-in-law, Pauline Loviscek, Mary Zupancic, Margaret Ford, Joanne Konechnik and many extended family members.
Dolores retired from L.S. Ayres and Company. She was a life member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and had a great devotion to the Blessed Mother. Until recently, she was an active member of The Slovenian National Home, SNPJ Lodge, KSKJ Lodge and the Slovenian Women's Union.
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 10 from 4 pm - 7:30 pm with a rosary at 7:30pm at Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W 10th St, Indpls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 11 at 11 am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 901 N Holmes Ave, Indpls. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
