Donald E. Short Sr. 74, of Indianapolis passed away October 18. He was born March 19, 1937. He retired after 29 years of working at a carpet warehouse. He is survived by his 2 sons, Donald E. Short Jr. and Michael (Jennifer) Short; sister, Betty Short; brothers, George, Harry, Bill and Lester Short; grandchildren, Chrystal Ann Short, Dawn Marie Short, Jessica R. Short, Joshua R. Bowen and Kris S. Hendren and 4 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Saturday, October 22 from 10 a.m. to Noon, with a funeral service at Noon in Stevens Mortuary & Family Center , 5520 W. 10th St., Indpls.
