Obituary of Bernard Browning
Bernard F. Browning, 87, born November 20, 1924 to Elmer and Anna Browning. Bernard passed away February 28 surrounded by family. He is survived by his wife, Claire; son Donald; stepchildren Steve, Dave and Mark Benninger as well as Dave, John and Eve Minton; brother Carl; sisters, Sally Hilton and Ruby Harris; 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by wives Marguerite and Dorothy; son, Nicholas and stepsons, Jim and Steve Minton.
Bernard retired from Allisons plant #5 and was also a decorated U.S. Army combat veteran of the Solomons and Phillipines Campaign during WWII.
Visitation will be TODAY, Thursday, March 1 from 5pm-7pm at Stevens Mortuary and Family Center, 5520 W. 10th St. Indpls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, March 2 at 10am in St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. Contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans (D.A.V.) www.stevensmortuary.net
