Gary L. Sauer, 59, Indianapolis, passed away February 28, 2012. He was born July 26, 1952. Gary was in the U.S. Navy. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 20 years and most recently with Monumental Life Insurance for five years. He belonged to the Moose Lodge. Gary loved the Colts, Pacers, poker and his movies. He was preceded in death by his mother, Norma Sauer and sister, Carla McKenzie. Survivors include his wife, Sarah Sauer; daughters, Barbara Runnels and Mary (Calvin) Adams; father, Carl Sauer; brothers, Stephen and Thomas Sauer and grandchildren Melissa, Michael, Carson and Cameron. A Celebration of Life for Gary will be Friday, March 2 from 9am-11am with a Memorial Mass at 11am in St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 6000 W. 34th St. Indpls.
