Obituary of William Shinn
William "Bill" Shinn 87, of Indianapolis passed away on February 26, 2009. William worked over 60 years for the Local 20 Sheet Metal Workers, Kirk & Blum, retiring in 1983. He was a member of the St. Christopher Church and he loved fishing and the outdoors. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Freeland Shinn and children, Billie (John) Carr, Tony (Margie) Shinn, Kevin Shinn, Tom (Stephanie) Shinn, Roni (Charlie) Shinn, Jim (Cynda) Shinn, Bill (Shannon) Shinn, Tina (Albert) Wilmont, Mary (Jimmy) Shields and John (Nancee) Shinn. twenty-two grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren, niece, Jeannine Downey and cousin, Jerry (Judy) Clevenger. William was preceded in death by his son, Mark Edward Shinn. Service will be held at Stevens Mortuary on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at 10 a.m. with visitation on Monday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society. www.stevensmortuary.net
