Idk where to start so I guess I'll start by stating who I am and then some memories of myself and Al aka the Diamond Dawg... In the wrestling world I'm known as Brutal Ben Baker. I first met Al somewhere in 2000 in a small town called Springville Indiana. The promoter of SWA Steve Carter(r.i.p.) loves watching me do all the crazy hardcore stuff.well he brought in Al and Rampage Raddison when he was known as big John Steele if I remember correct and another big man. I'm 6'3" n 252 and it's 1 of the handful of times n 28 n a half yrs that I've been the smallest man n the match. I had the hardcore title.i had to pin all 3 of them to keep my title and man it wasn't an easy task. It came down to me and Al and I dumped broken glass onto the concrete floor n knocked him down into it.then wrapped myself in barbwire n dove off onto him for the final pin. It started a battle n the wrestling world between us that lasted for a while. But outside of the wrestling world it built a friendship that lasted for almost 25 years. I just seen him in Indianapolis at a WCWO show in June of 2023 for don bashers memorial show.crowd probably thought we were nuts but we hugged each other for quite a while and talked. He sat down beside me n we talked the whole show catching up. The last thing he said to me that night was brother what promotion can we work hardcore 1 more time for my retirement match.and we were trying to figure out who'd let us bleed like a couple stuffed pigs as we always did.we got ready to go home for the night n we hugged and both said I love you brother take care. As I sit here tonight thinking about all the memories all I can say is hold my spot up there brother, when I get up there we'll have a match in the golden ring (this is a pro wrestler's belief for those that don't know) R.I.P. Al I love you brother#Diamond Dawg 4ever
