Obituary of Linda K Harper

Linda K. Harper, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on August 27, 2024. She was 67 years of age. Linda was born in Indianapolis in October of 1956 to Oline and Phyllis Lambert, both preceding her in death. Linda is also preceded in death by her son Steven Duety.

Linda graduated from Ben Davis high school and went on to receive her associates degree in business management while working for Allison Payment Systems; where she had a rewarding 26-year career advancing and ultimately retiring as the manager of customer service.

Linda loved to travel and set her sights on new destinations. She had spent many years traveling with her husband, Tony L. Harper to whom she shared a lifetime of 40 years together. Linda shared a life of love, honesty and devotion with Tony; and he stood by her side when it counted the most. Linda was a strong, brave and determined woman having fought health issues for over 20 years.

Linda enjoyed her time coloring in her books and she did this all the time. She enjoyed going to the casino and spending time and money! Linda most of all loved her family deeply. Family was most important to her and she treasured her relationship with her only daughter, Bree. Linda loved the quality time spent with her family, but she shined the brightest seeing her “Grandbabies”. Linda was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.

Linda leaves behind to cherish her memory, husband Tony L. Harper; daughter Breon Duety; sons William (Renee) Duety and Roger (Ashley) Duety; sisters Deborah Monroe, Kathleen Chezem, Terry Brown and Norma Napier; brother Jimmy Lambert; grandbabies Noah Duety, Kenzie Duety, Brayden Sorrell, Landon Duety, Carter Duety, and Ashton Duety; and great grandbaby August Duety; eight nieces; five nephews.
